Embarking on the path of writing and publishing an eBook on Amazon Kindle Edition was a dream I had nurtured for years. I'm here to share my journey, which has culminated in the thrilling success of my eBook titled "Career Boost: 9 Certification Advantages." This eBook, which explores the transformative power of certifications, has not only touched the lives of readers but also secured its place as an Amazon #1 Best Seller. Here's how my story unfolded, from inspiration to publication.


The Spark of Inspiration (July 2023)

The idea for my new eBook began to take shape in my mind in July 2023. As someone with over 45 years of experience in diverse cultures, Corporates and industries, I have witnessed the incredible impact that certifications could have on individuals and organizations. Certifications, in my eyes, were more than just qualifications; they were the keys to a world of opportunity. My objective was to create a guiding light for readers, whether they sought personal growth or professional excellence.


Taking the First Step (August 2023)

My journey truly began when I stumbled upon a Facebook ad promoting a 3-day Bestselling Author Mastery workshop. Having authored five books, including one in paperback, I had a long-cherished dream of seeing the Amazon Best Seller badge on one of them. I had zero knowledge of the intricacies, making my proposed ebook the best seller.

I couldn't resist the allure of achieving the coveted "Best Seller" badge on Amazon. This opportunity piqued my interest, and I decided to take the plunge.

Mr. Inspiring Jatin, who led the workshop, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable, and he gave me the advice I needed to start my journey.


A Winning Start (August 2023)


I eagerly enrolled in the 3-Day Bestselling Author Mastery Workshop held in the first week of August. The interactive Zoom meetings, facilitated by the Inspiring Jatin, were eye-opening. During the workshop, we were tasked with assignments, including creating a book’s provisional title, mock cover, and chapter headings. To my delight, my title, "Career Boost: 9 Certification Advantages," with the sub-title "Stand out and excel in any career with certifications," was recognized as one of the best among more than 50 participants' submissions. I was honored with a winning badge displayed on screen. This early validation provided me with the confidence to move forward. This experience ignited a passion in me to turn my dream into a reality.


Gaining Expertise (Post-Workshop)

After completing the workshop, I purchased from Mr. Inspiring Jatin a bundle of video lessons, the "Bestselling Author Mastery Program" and "Content Spinner Blueprint." This newfound knowledge equipped me with the skills I needed to navigate the challenging world of eBook writing and publishing.


Joining a Supportive Community (Ongoing)

I didn't embark on this journey alone. I joined a community of authors who shared their experiences and wisdom. This support network proved invaluable, as I continued to receive guidance even after the workshop had concluded.


The Long Road to Publication (August to October 2023)

Creating "Career Boost: 9 Certification Advantages" was a two-month journey that involved crafting the book's content, structuring it effectively, setting a competitive price, collecting pre-orders, and promoting it tirelessly. As a self-publisher, I had to manage every aspect without the support of office staff, making the journey doubly challenging.


Preparation for Launch (October 23, 2023)

I created a dedicated landing page to collect pre-orders and bulk orders for the eBook.

Starting with single-digit pre-orders, the book gained momentum and support, eventually leading to its official launch on October 23, 2023, a significant day during the Vijaya Dasami Hindu festival.

Key Achievements

With the ebook content uploaded in advance on the Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) portal, the stage was set for the world to discover "Career Boost: 9 Certification Advantages."

Editorial Review That Shines

One noteworthy accomplishment during this process was getting an editorial review from Mr. GR Murthy, a well-respected corporate executive with a reputation for compelling writing. His evaluation gave the ebook more legitimacy and increased its visibility on Amazon. "From the Author," another work I wrote, explains the purpose of this book and how it differs from my earlier publications that have been published. These two sections were published on the Amazon.com sale page when they were uploaded to Amazon KDP, but they did not show up on Amazon.in, which is my main online marketplace. However, I submitted a request to Amazon, and they quickly approved it and made it available on Amazon.in as well.

A Strong Launch Team

The "SVSN Book Launch Team" on Telegram Messenger, comprised of author friends, relatives, and well-wishers, played a crucial role in the success of the eBook. Their feedback, support, and reviews were instrumental in shaping the final product release.
